Della Maxine Snow McPhee Della Maxine Snow McPhee passed away peacefully in her sleep, Sunday, July 21, 2002. She was born June 14, 1920 to Edward W. Snow and Magdalene Olson in Eureka, Utah. She spent her childhood in Sanpete county and Salt Lake City. She attended school in Salt Lake City. She met and married the love of her life, Eugene R. McPhee in 1940. As a young girl, Della sang on the old KDYL radio station. Late in life, her grandkids were always trying to get grammy to "yoodel" for them. Among her greatest pleasures were family barbeques, card games, bowling, and she was an avid Jazz fan. She loved gardening, especially her roses. But her main enjoyment was her family. She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years; two sons and one daughter, Eugene (Dalene) McPhee, Jr., Taylorsville; Joan (Dan) Tate, Roosevelt; and Scott D. (Connie) McPhee, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of 11 children. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2002 at 1:30 p.m., at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, prior to the service.
