Leo Jerome, 54, San Francisco, Cal., died suddenly at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Apr. 11, 1962, according to a telegram received by his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Jerome, 29 Spruce St.
Mr. Jerome had been in the Army for 30 years and was overseas twice. He was a Warrant Officer when he retired some years ago.
He attended, local schools and was a bell boy at White's Hotel before entering the Army.
Surviving is his wife, Evelyn; his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Emogene Murray and Mrs. Rita Henry, both of Massena; and two brothers, Clarence of Winthrop and Everette of Massena. His other brother, Jeston, died over two years ago. He also has several nieces and nephews.
