Ada Stief Nicholas, wife of Samuel J. Nicholas, 400 S. Fourth St., died this morning in the Lebanon Valley General Hospital. She was 74. She was retired from the Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been employed on the laundry staff. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, William S., Earl L.. Robert E. and Kenneth R., all of Lebanon; Caroline, wife of Joseph Arnt, Lebanon; Geraldine. wife of Lee Myers, Jonestown; Shirley A. and Larry L., at home; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
