Death of Mrs. Crouch
Old Resident of Salt Lake Called to The Other Side
Mrs. Caroline Baker Crouch, widow of William Crouch, died Tuesday at 7 a .m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Birgon, Union, Salt Lake county, of general debility. The deceased was born in Ickelsham, Sussex, England, March 13, 1824, and emigrated to Utah 30 years ago. For 27 years she was a resident of Salt Lake City, but shortly after the death of her husband four years ago, she moved to Union where she lived with her daughter till her demise. Mrs. Crouch was a faithful Latter-day Saint and endured many hardships for her religion. She leaves four children. The funeral will be held from the Union ward house tomorrow, Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment in the Salt Lake City cemetery.
