Services were Monday at Covenant Presbyterian Church of Carrollton. Burial was in Hilltop Memorial Park by Metrocrest Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burk received her bachelor's degree at West Texas State University and earned a master's degree in library science at the University of Illinois.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Wofford of Carrollton; a sister, Julia Barron of Lamesa; a brother, Mason Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
