Lynn Pickett Gouldin, 49, of Woodford, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her home. Lynn was an Assistant Vice President with Union Bank and Trust and Market Manager for the Caroline Region. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church and sang in the choir. Extremely active in her community, she was instrumental in bringing the first Relay for Life to Caroline in 1998 and served as Chairman for two years. She was one of the early organizers of the Bowling Green Harvest Festival and worked year after year putting together the car show portion of the Festival. Lynn also was active in the Caroline Chamber of Commerce. She served on the board numerous times and held the position of Treasurer. In 2008, the Chamber of Commerce honored her with the first annual "C.I.V.I.C" award. She was also an honorary member of the Caroline Ruritan Club.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Frankie Wayne Gouldin; a daughter, Brandy Lynn Gouldin; a son-in-law, Jason Heisler; her grandson, Kaydyn Justis; her parents, William Henry and Peggy Pickett; two brothers, Paul Pickett and David Pickett and his wife, Terrie; her mother-in-law, Doris Talley; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Toombs and Cathy Tillman; and her two best friends and sisters-in-love, Debbie Holland and her husband, Billy and Judy Beazley and her husband, Darrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Bowling Green Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin James officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
