EVELYN WRAY, 83, of Memphis, retired from Lowensteins department store, died of cancer Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Memphis Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a member of Coleman Church of Christ. Mrs. Wray, the widow of Leonard F. Wray, leaves a sister, Edith B. Nichols of Oakland, Miss., and a brother, Billy G. Burgess of Memphis. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 3/13/1996)
