He worked as a rancher throughout the valley of Coachella. Cowboy is survived by his son, Rudy B. Valenzuela Jr.; his sisters and brothers, Gloria Zamorez, Helen Treviño, Louie Valenzuela, Andy Valenzuela, Henry Valenzuela, Frank Valenzuela, and Alfred Valenzuela.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Indio Mortuary chapel located at 82-975 Requa Avenue in Indio, CA. Rosary will be at 6:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Soledad Church located at 52-555 Oasis Street in Coachella, CA. Burial following Mass. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
