As per 1905 Blue Rapids, Marshall Co., KS State census, Bert was living with his Mother (A W), siblings (George and Nellie) and Millie A Newman (age 60).

As per 1920 Federal census, Bert had a daughter, May, age 14. New information given suggests that May was Minnie's daughter with her previous husband, William Money.

Information provided to me states that Bert's father was Joseph Oliphant Godding and that he may be buried in Jewell Co., KS. He may be near his first wife Lucinda Green Godding.
