Mr. Elvin E. "Andy" Anderson, 82, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in Biloxi. Mr. Anderson was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School where he was on the football team. He was a retired MSgt with the MS Air National Guard and a member of Biloxi Elks Lodge # 606. He enjoyed fishing and crabing.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his sons, Elvin E. "Bud" Anderson, Jr. and Larry D. Anderson; granddaughter, Amber Anderson Meyer;his mother, Nellie King Anderson; father and step-mother, Clyde W. and Thelma Conway Anderson; sister, Nellie Margaret Ratzlaff; and two brothers, Clyde W. Anderson, Jr. and James L. Anderson.

Survivors include his sons, Tracey (Kelly) Anderson of Biloxi, and Jeffery (Becky) Anderson of Saucier; daughter-in-law, Debbie Anderson of Biloxi; sister, Thelma (Robby) Coggin of North Ogden, Utah; two brothers, Wayne (Susan) Anderson and Robert (Virginia) Anderson of Ocean Springs; grandsons, Carlton (Mel) Anderson, Brian Beets, Chandler Anderson, Jared (Ashley) Anderson, Max Anderson and Seth Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 26, 2011, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. for graveside services at Biloxi City Cemetery
