Ruby Beatrice (Coates) Burriss died Sunday morning Dec. 29,1974 at the home in Warrensburg Missouri, Johnson Co. Mrs. Burriss was born in Johnson Co,Missouri. on May 31,1905 the daughter of Emmett T. and Louvenia (Rawlins) Coates.Mr and Mrs. Burriss were married Dec 22,1920 and had just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. she is survived by one son Dean C. Burriss Amarillo, Tex,one daughter Mrs. William J. (Fleeta) Livengood Route 4 Warrensburg, Missouri, Johnson Co. five grandchildren.Mrs Burriss is also survived by one brother Kenneth Coates Perryton, Tex and four nephews. Funeral service was held Dec 30,1974 at 3:30p.m.at the Holdren Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg,Missouri with Dr. Frank E. Myers officiating.
