Alfred Fife lived near my grandparents in the early 1900's and they went to church together. My grandmother Jessie Taylor's first husband was a Fife and related distantly to Alfred.

He was the son of Ebenezer and Margaret McCormick Fife, also buried in this cemetery.
He married Hulda Ann Elliott and they had two sons, Lee Morgan and Wilson E. Fife and in 1915 they took in a young girl, just 11 years old, from the Washington County Children's Home and raised her. She was Susan Behanna.
