AMBURN, Irene L., 67, Roanoke, Va. and formerly from Bluefield, Va., died Thursday, October 14, 1999 in a Roanoke hospital due to complications following surgery. She was born in Charles Town, W.Va. and was a daughter of the late Haston James Lewis and Euna Victoria White Lewis. She was a member of the Graham Christian Church in Bluefield, Va., a charter member of the Double Gates Extension Homemakers Club. She was a receptionist at the Friendship Manor Retirement Center in Roanoke. For many years she had taught cake decorating classes and had made many wedding and birthday cakes for several people in the Bluefield area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Byrd Amburn. Surviving are daughters, Pam Morehead and Dan O'Neill of Florence, S.C., Lisa Reynolds and husband, Doug of Salem, Va.; a brother, William D. Lewis of Salem, Va.; sisters, Sybil Rose of Bluefield, W.Va., Cella Ferguson of Roanoke, Va., Jean Stamper; grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the Grandview Mausoleum
