MRS. M. G. RYAN DIES SATURDAY
Final Tribute to the Life of Esteemed Resident of Elburn-Maple Park and Sycamore Acccorded This Tuesday From St. Mary's Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. John Patrick Ryan, 66, who died Saturday afternoon at Sycamore hospital, were conducted this Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's church, the Rev. Fr. P. S. Masterson officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
Mary Genevieve Winterhalter, the daughter of John B. and Elizabeth Winterhalter, was born in Chicago on January 24, 1870. She removed with her parents to Elburn vicinity at the age of six months. In Elburn she received her education.
She was united in marriage on Oct. 22, 1893 to John P. Ryan, in a ceremoney solemnized at Maple Park.
To this union were born six children, Leo J. of Elburn, Walter of Craig, Mo., John W. of Sycamore, Robert of Sycamore, Genevieve of Dixon, Mrs. Alice Gordon of Dixon and Florence of Sycamore.
Besides the husband and children one brother and two sisters mourn. They are Joseph of Elburn, and Mrs. Elizabeth Ryan of Billings, Mont., and Mrs. Kathryn Fitzsimmons of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Relatives and friends will cherish the memory of the decedent. She was a lady of happy personality and friendly address. Her passing will be a sad loss to her home, as well as to her many relatives and friends.
