Miss Druzella "Kate" Hudson married Gallant Anderson Bauswell on October 13, 1867 at Scottville, Illinois. They were married for 48 years. To this union were born eleven children, six of whom, four girls and two boys, preceded their father to the grave when he passed away on December 9, 1915. The five children living at that time were: Mrs. Wallace [Anna] Cloyd, Mrs. Ed [Minnie Mae] Eccles, and Clarence Bauswell residents in Girard Illinois; and Louie Bauswell and Dallas Bauswell, of Hillsboro, Illinois.
