Hazel Wilson Hawkins Holliday, 95 died Monday, July 11, 2011 at Madison River Oaks Medical Center in Canton. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2011 from 9 AM until 10 AM chapel services at Breeland Funeral Home with burial in the Vaiden Cemetery.
Born March 31, 1916 in Silas, AL to Henry and Elizabeth Wheeler Wilson, Hazel lived most of her life in Canton. She was a retired elementary school teacher for the Canton Public Schools and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Hawkins and second husband Arthur Newton Holliday.
Survivors include: nieces, Patricia Becker and Margaret Deehan; cousin, Bettie Lou White Ross; and a number of nieces and nephews.
