A correspondent at Hollidaysburg writes us as follows: Mrs. Catharine Gruenwald died at her residence, corner of Juniata and Wayne Streets, Hollidaysburg; at ten minutes past 8 o'clock Friday evening from an affection of the kidneys, after an illness of several months. Her husband preceded her but a few days, having died on Monday and being buried on Thursday. She was born July 8, 1838, and was well known throughout the county, having been a resident of Hollidaysburg for about 30 years. Her first husband, Engelbert Gromiller, died in 1873. In 1876 she married Mr. Jacob Gruenwald. The following children, Mary, James, Kate, Engelbert, and Edward Gromiller and Annie Gruenwald, survive her, all being single and at home excepting Kate, who is the wife of J. Herman Lordeman, of Altoona. Beside her children, her father, Michael Storm (Sturm) of Altoona, and her brother Andrew Storm (Sturm)of Altoona, and her sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Myers, of Altoona; Mrs. Thomas G. McKee, of Osceola, and Mrs. Reuben Buoymaster, of Eldorado, survive her.
