Avelline F. Gromiller
Mrs. Gromiller, 77, of 716 Allegheny St., Hollidaysburg, died Friday, Dec. 9, 1983, in her home, aparently after a heart attack.
Mrs. Gromiller had served as director and treasurer of Green Lawn Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
She was born Jan. 13, 1906, in Hollidaysburg, the daughter of Peter J. and Caroline (Frank) Filts, and Oct. 1, 1930, in Hollidaysburg, married James F. Gromiller, who died Oct. 3, 1969.
Surviving are a son, James W. of Easton, Conn., and four grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Marie, who resided with Mrs. Gromiller.
Mrs. Gromiller was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, and its Women's Guild.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
Interment in Green Lawn Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
