ROCKDALE, Aug 4 (ANS) - E. V. (Gene) Marshall, 65, member of a pioneer Rockdale family, died Monday. He had been ill four months.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Phillips and Luckey Chapel with the Rev. L. B. Jones and the Rev. T. Miller Smith officiating.
Survivors are his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Waco and Mrs. W. I. Brooks of Austin; five brothers, Walter Marshall of Teague, Kennard Marshall of Houston and Brett Marshall, Emerson Marshall and W. F. Marshall, all of Rockdale.
