Camille A. Rebstock Jr., 86, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by four nieces and nephews; care giver, Gloria Billiot; one godchild, Allen Thibodaux and wife, Mitzi and daughters; three sisters, Nancy Thibodaux, Earline Rome and Rose Mary Rome; three step-grandsons, Everette, Brian, and Blaine Broussard; two step-great-grandchildren, Scott and Chelsea Broussard; and daughter-in-law, Marilyn Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Compet Rebstock; his parents, Camille Rebstock and Anita Duet Rebstock; one stepson, A.J. Broussard; and half brothers and sisters, Jefferson Rebstock, Edison Rebstock, Douciana Pierce, Camillia Bowen, Yvonne Acosta, Simon Duet, Sidney Duet, Rosea Cheramie, Rose Duet and Josephine Terrebonne.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and an Army World War II veteran. He was a member of 3rd and 4th Degree of Knights of Columbus, Lady of the Sea Council, Holy Name Society, American Legion Post 259 and member of 40 and 8. He was a volunteer worker for many years at Catholic Community Center.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
