Roy Arthur Fox, age 69, of Front Royal, Virginia died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas.
Roy was born February 28, 1942 in Prince William County, son of the late Michael Roy and Cora Lee (Jewel) Fox. He was employed with Rayco Roof Service for over 25 years and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Roy E. Fox; one sister, Margie Savage and one brother, Michael Fox, Sr.
Survivors include four children, Dale W. Fox, Sr and life partner, William Richards of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Timothy E. Fox and Angela Fox of Manassas, Virginia, Patty Webb and husband Kenneth of Newport News, Virginia and Kathy Fox of Newport News, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Brandy Sloan, Stephanie Fox, Dale Fox, Jr., Joshua Fox, Amber Fox, Erika Fox and Linda Caine and eight great-grandchildren, Celina Fox, Destiny Fox, Christopher Sloan, Isaiah Elam, Jeffrey Elam, Jr., Winter Fox, Summer Fox and Alyssa Renee Fox.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. both Sunday, July 17, 2011 and Monday, July 18, 2011 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
