Charlie, the Bishop's Bluff "soapmaker" has been taken from our midst but will forever remain in our hearts. He spent the 4th of July with dear friends and in the evening had an abrupt fatal massive heart attack. He is truly home now. Let us pray for him.

Charlie was born and raised in Tallahassee. Since March 2009 he made soap for our community, Port St. Joe, Panama City, St. George, and Thomasville. This opportunity combined his love for nature, craft making, and most of all, for people. For WAVE, he loved you all. For those who loved his soap, he loved that you did, and you brought a new joy into his life. His true family are all those he loved and who loved him, and truly to know him was to love him. May his memory be a blessing. He is survived by his son and family: Justin, Elisa, Mackie, Taylor, Logan Bishop; mother Eunice Brown; brother and family: Donnie, Carol, Danny, and Lori Bishop; sister and family: Lin and Jim Mills, Kerri, Preston, Brayden and Linley Foster; many loving cousins, and his beloved family of friends. Services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with a reception following.

Inurnment will be at 3:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.

A trust is being established for his grandchildren.
