Daughter of the late John and Flossie Rich Lamb, she was the widow of John C. "Bobby" Alderman. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Alderman, and by three sisters. She was survived by two daughters, Bobbie Perry and Carolyn Skeen (Gene); grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Live Oak, FL, where her funeral was held on October 27, 2010, with The Rev. Dr. Bill Wood officiating.
