A celebration of the life of Randy E. Anderson, age 49, of Paducah, will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17. 2011, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Reid and the J. Patrick Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Randy passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 9:50 a.m. at the Crittenden County Hospital in Marion, Ky.
Born in Tomball, Texas, Randy was the Purchasing Director for Excell Marine Cooperation. He was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Masonic Lodge 737 at Sharpe, Ky. Randy was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed playing golf.
Randy will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and son-in-law.
Randy is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pam Wilson Anderson, his two daughters, Brittany Lynn Anderson, and her fiance', Justin Willett, both of Fancy Farm, and Wendy Marie Anderson, of Paducah, a sister, Nancy Reineking, of Metropolis, Illinois and a brother, Phillip Anderson, of Breman, Indiana. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 1 nephew, along with 2 great-nieces, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Linda Wilson, of Paducah.
Randy is also survived by his two beagles which he adored, Gidget and Maggie.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. and Alberta Meyer Anderson.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home, where masonic rites will be conducted at 7:00 p.m.
