Frank Antoine Mitchell was born in February of 1856 Fayal Island in the Azoes, Portugal. His parents were Joseph Mitchell and Ann Louisa.
Frank migrated to the United States around 1875-79 and married Phoebe Fratus settling in the Beechwood Area of Cohasset, Massachusetts where they raised their children: Elizabeth, George, Walter, Charles, Frederick, Lillian, Mabel, Isabella, Joseph and Margaret.
Frank died on 28 Oct, 1941 and was buried at the Beechwood Cemetary in Cohasset.
