Marilyn R. Covey, 71, County Route 42, died Wednesday afternoon at the Carthage Area Hospital April 28, 2010.
Born in Carthage on July 12, 1938, the daughter of Melvin W. and Ruth Vrooman Warner. She graduated from Housfield Central School in 1955 and from Plattsburgh State in 1959 with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She worked for 22 years as the school nurse for the Copenhagen Central School District and for 5 years as the Industrial Nurse for the Kraft Corporation in Lowville.
She married Clifford A. Covey on April 16, 1960 at the Deer River Congregational Church
