Mr. Timothy 'Timmy' Clifford Baldwin, age 21, of Douglasville, GA, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004. He was born October 26, 1982 in Lithia Springs, GA. Timmy was a senior at the University of Georgia where he was majoring in speech communications and journalism. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Timmy graduated with honors from Douglas County High School in 2001. He was an avid golfer and as a member of the varsity golf team won several individual awards. He was very active at St. Theresa Catholic Church where he taught CCD classes. Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward J. Shea; his paternal grandmother, Jane M. Baldwin; and his brother, Weston M. Baldwin. He is survived by father, Dr. Richard L. and Donna Baldwin, Douglasville, GA; mother, Mary Jane Shea Baldwin and partner Dr. Linda D. Ford, Douglasville, GA; brother, Patrick Shea Baldwin, Douglasville, GA; sister, Betsy Hartlee Baldwin, Douglasville, GA; other siblings: Nikki Ford, Douglasville, GA; Connie Schofield, Douglasville, GA; Christi McLendon, Douglasville, GA; godmother, Kathy C. Powell, Douglasville, GA; Paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Baldwin, Nashville, TN; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Imogene C. Shea, Nashville, TN; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Partridge, Thomaston, GA; Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Ford, Austell, GA; 6 aunts; 7 uncles, many cousins, and 5 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 12, 2004 from 3:00-8:00 pm. There will be a Rosary prayer service Sunday at 7:00pm with Father Richard Tibbetts, officiating. The funeral service will be on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 11:00am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Lithia Springs, GA with Father Linus DeSantis, officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, c/o Bank of America, 1529 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
