HOLLANDALE — Funeral services for Wash Carter, 86, of 801 Hoover St. will be held there at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church with Rev. T. R. Clay officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hollandale Cemetery with the Hollandale Mortuary Association in charge.
Mr. Carter died Sunday in the Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Carter of Hollandale; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Lee Tyler and Mrs. Laura Bell Carter, both of Greenville and Mrs. Ruth Carter of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sons, Willie Carter of Los Angeles, Calif. and Johnny Carter and Wash Carter Jr. both of St. Louis, Mo.
