David Bittenbender was a son of Jacob (1815-1863) and Sara (Wagner) Bittenbender (from Upper Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., Pa.--tombstones not found). He was married to Agnes Sarah Jane (Rothrock) Bittenbender about 1895. David remarried on Feb. 21, 1920 with Clara (Getz).
