She was born November 18, 1944, in Greenwood, Mississippi to Sidney Ernest "S.E." Killian and Hazel Marie "Sue" (Garrett) Killian and was raised in Benton, Arkansas where she graduated from Benton High School, going on to attend and graduate from Mid-South Bible College in Memphis, Tennessee where she met her then future husband, Mr. Curtis Alton Pugh, son of Lois Lucille McAlvain Pugh. They married on Jan. 29, 1966 in Memphis and God blessed them with more than 45 years of marriage.
Janet was a faithful, godly, loving wife and an amazing mother who served diligently with her husband, an Independent, Sovereign Grace, Landmark, Missionary Baptist preacher. For more than 26 years, she served with him on the foreign fields of Canada and Romania.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Pugh of the home; two daughters, Ruth McLellan (Robert) and Anna Cattemull (Mark); one brother, Bill, of Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; Ruben, Bethia, Sarah, Joelle, Zach, Abigail and Isaiah and two great-grandchildren; Andrew and Kaedence, several nieces and nephews and a host of brothers and sisters in Christ.
