She was born on Thursday, July 31, 1919, in Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Rev. James Oscar Billings and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Billings.
Daisy was a charter member of the Loyal Order of Moose Ladies Auxiliary and former member of the V.F.W. Post #5996 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Minyard is survived by her son, Jack Minyard, daughters, Linda Bridges McCoy, Jane Sears Robinson and Diane Simpson Surls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Oscar Billings and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Billings, husband, Frank Minyard, son, Kenneth Dale Minyard, daughter, Jo Ann Standridge Hayes, brother, Larkin Billings, sisters, Nell Morgan and Iola Richey, grandson, Kenny Dale Minyard.
