Freda Potts, 85 of Rosiclare, IL, died at 7:42 p.m. January 10, 1998 at Hardin County General Hospital.
Freda was born in Hardin County November 12, 1912. She was the daughter of David and Rachel (Joiner) Cornell. She married Freeman E. Potts, April 27th. 1929.
Survivors include four sons and their wives; Donald and Marilyn (Rotes) Potts of Youngstown, OH, Ronald and Connie (Ralph) Potts of Parkersburg, EV, Joel and Jean (Winters) Potts of Paducah, KY, Dale and Sandy (Vaughn) Potts of Rosiclare, IL. One daughter Noma (Potts) Stroh and Lloyd Stroh, Cody, SY. She had 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She also is survived by four brothers; Millard, Garcie, Archie, and Wilburn Cornell, four sisters; Meredith Cowsert, Vercie Delay, Margie Walker and Nora Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter, Wilma Ruby Potts.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and spent a majority of her life in work for the church. Freda's love of life, her strength, her faith in God, her love for her family and friends and their love for her, gave to her a wonderful life. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
