Sherry L. Bumpus, 53, Hudson, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday (July 5, 2011) at her home.
She was born Oct. 29, 1957 in Peoria to Millard Dale and Sharon Lee Deer Potter. She was preceded in death by her father.
She married William Michael Wilson.
She later married Douglas M. Bumpus on May 31, 1986 in Pontiac. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Julie (Jon) Folsom, Champaign; Carissa Bumpus, Bloomington and Ashley Bumpus, Hudson; one stepdaughter, Victoria Lake, Mount Vernon; one stepson, Michael Steidinger, Fairbury; her mother, Sharon Potter, Crest Hill; seven grandchildren, Corbin, Owen and Jude Folsom; Austin Koch and Megan, Trinidy and Catrina Lake; two sisters, Sue Bregar, Joliet, and Debbie (John) Bourg, Manhattan and many nieces and nephews.
