Jimmie Dee Allen, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Eddy Cemetery.

Jimmie was born Nov. 13, 1939, in Waco, to Raymond and Cleotis Wilcox. She retired from General Tire and Rubber Co. She loved to bake for her family and friends, and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Billie Scott; and her brother, Dwayne Wilcox.

She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Bernhardt and husband, Doug, Delinda Jones, Ruth Ann Allen and husband, John Outland, and Sheila Allen, all of Waco; grandchildren, Dustin Bowers and Stephanie Sigler and husband, Cory; and brothers, Raymond Dan Wilcox and wife, Dorothy, and Rickey Lynn Wilcox.

Pallbearers will be Eric Robison, Cory Sigler, Dustin Bowers, Robbie Nolan, Brian Nolan, Robert Nolan, Dwayne Wilcox and Danny Wilcox.

The family wants to thank all who cared for their mother throughout the past years.
