George Barela, age 73, of Santa Fé, NM, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 22, 2007.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Nellie Barela and uncle and aunt, Fred and Mary García.
George is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Tessie Barela, son, Jeff Barela and his wife, Laura, grandchildren, Jeff Jr., Jordan, Jason, Laurene and Laurissa, brother, Frances and his wife, Cecilia and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
