Albino Casaus, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2007.
Albino was born in Cuba, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.
Albino was preceded in death by his parents, Fermin and Sinaida Casaus, wife, Clara Hernández and great-grandson, Paul Harper.
Albino is survived by his daughters, Senaiya Overmyer and her husband, Donald and Elizabeth Chávez, grandchildren, Linda Casaus, Sunshine Millsap, Geena Overmyer, Cassandra Ketchum and Gregory Ketchum, II, three great-grandchildren, brother, Gilbert Casaus, sisters, Dolores "Lola" Martínez, Lila Casaus, Rosa Váldez and Carolina Casaus and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Albino's nephews, Ernie Casaus, Rick Martínez and John "Elmer" Martínez for the special bond they had with their uncle, as well as the love and support given to Albino and his family throughout his lifetime.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary, Alameda, NM. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Ricky Martínez, Ernie Casaus, Sonny Casaus, Randy Pacheco, Eddie Pacheco and Ross Howard. Honorary bearers will be Jason Howard, Troy Howard, Craig Casaus, Elmer Martínez, Eloy Domínguez and Anthony Pacheco.
