Dorothy E. Cadwalader was born October 20, 1922 in San Francisco. She was raised in the bay area and attended San Jose State University. She passed away and was reunited with her husband on October 16, 2010.

She raised her family in Menlo Park, where her husband was a contractor. They retired in 1976 and moved to Lincoln, Calif., where Dorothy was active in bridge and woman's clubs. Dorothy and Loyd were devoted parents and grandparents. She passed away at her daughter's home in Fresno, Calif., where she lived for the last four years.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hardie and her husband David; sons, John and James Cadwalader and three grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California on Friday, October 29, 2010
