He was a lifelong area resident. Frank was a veteran of World War II and also served as a navigator in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a police officer for city of Ishpeming until retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Ishpeming Veterans of Foregn Wars and the Retired Police & Fireman's Association of Ishpeming.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; a son, Thomas of Carney; a sister Mary Wommer of Ishpeming; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
