Joseph A. Robert, 95, of Lake of the Woods, Locust Grove, formerly of Rhode Island and Maine, died at the Orange County Nursing Home, Orange. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from the New England Paper Tube Co. after working 20 years as a foreman. He enjoyed fishing with his wife, Rosa, children and grandchildren. He was skilled at building homes, remodeling and tile work.

He leaves his wife of 69 years, Rosa L. Robert; sons, Rene Robert and wife, Kathy, of Smithfield, R.I., Richard Robert and wife, Mary Jo, of Laurel, Md.; daughters, Alice Quattromani and husband, Anthony, of Lake of the Woods, Cecile Tomasso and husband, Mario, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Irene Theriault and husband, Alfred, of Fredericksburg, Rita Gilbert and husband, Eugene, of Charlottesville; grandchildren, Michael Treglia and wife, Carol, of Great Mills, Md., Robert Treglia and wife, Kathy, of Suffield, Conn., Mary McElhone and husband, John, of Las Vegas, Nev., Louise Reulbach and husband, Joseph, of Graham, Wash., Mar Quattromani and wife, Renee, of Oregon, Michele Morrow and husband, Carter, of Round Hill, Cecilia Quattromani and husband, Dean, of Minnetonka, Minn., Peter Theriault and wife, Sue Ellen, of Locust Grove, Paul Theriault and wife, Angela, of Fredericksburg, Michelle Batilto and husband, Steven, of Fredericksburg, Joseph A. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
