Mrs. Myrtie R Gelatt Watson, 84, widow of George P. Watson, formerly of East Lee, died last night at the home of her son, John C. Gelatt, 1077 Main street.
She was born in Jackson, Pa. and for many years was a clerk in the Cherry Valley branch of the Worcester Post Office. She moved to East Lee in 1941 after her retirement.
She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Lee.
She leaves five sons, John C. and Mark F. Gelatt, both of Leicester. Rev. Paul B. W. Gelatt of Central Lakes, Mich., Granville M. Gelatt of Woonsocket, R.I., and Ralph D. Gelatt of Susquehanna, Pa.; a daughter, Miss Thelma D. Gelatt of Monson; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at teh Shields Funeral Home in Lee. Burial will be in the Lee Cemetery. There will be calling hours from 7 to 9 tonight at the Kingsley Funeral Home, Spencer.
