Mrs. Lenora H. Absher, 91, a 50-year resident of Sibley living at 301 E. Grove for the last 16 years, died at 6:40 a.m. Monday at Brokaw Hospital. She had been a patient five days. She was taken to the Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City.
She was born July 5, 1875, in Farmer City, a daughter of Franklin and Annetta Foulks Helmick. She was married to Dr. A A. Absher in 1894 in Bellflower.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H. J. Rudolph, Danville; a brother, Dr. Otto Helmick, and a sister, Miss Helen Helmick, Bellflower: two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Sibley Methodist Church.
