"Polk" is buried in this cemetery but has an unmarked grave. It is believed (by me) that his son Gideon Yates is also buried in this cemetery, but I have no proof of that. Polk was the singing master at the Ponder's Gap Old Time Gospel Church near Ten Mile, TN. A picture of him is in that church today (2003).
