Graveside services for Rosa Brown, of Monticello, are 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 31 at New Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Monticello. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Brown, 87, died May 26, 2005, at Lawrence County Nursing Center. She was born in Marion County on May 9, 1918, to Sam Martin and Docia Anna Russell. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Southgate Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Braime Brown; and her sisters, Ottis M. Martin Carr and Etta Mae Comeaux. Survivors are her brother, Norman Martin, of Monticello.
