LOCAL NEWS OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Carrie Dillie, wife of Hiram Dillie, died quite unexpectedly Monday evening at about 6:30 o'clock of diabetes at her home on North Franklin St. She had been in poor health for the past year though she had only been confined to her home since Saturday. She was born in South Bend and had been a resident of this city for 20 years, coming here to attend the Valparaiso University. For several years previous to her marriage to Mr. Dillie she was a school teacher in Morgan township. She was 42 years old and besides a husband, leaves two daughters.
