Mrs. John Dillen Passes Away at Philipsburg Hospital Last Thursday

Mrs. Ellen Dillen, widow of the late John Dillen, of Utahville, died at the Philipsburg Hospital, Thursday morning, September 12th, where she had been taken for treatment a few days before. She suffered from hernia and died from the effects of an operation. Mrs. Dillen was aged 76 years and three months. The remains were brought to the home of her daughter, Mr. J. P. O'Shell near Utahville, Friday. The funeral took place from the home Monday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. McHenry of the Glasgow U. B. church being in charge. Interment was made in the Dillen cemetery near Utahville. Undertaker E. W. Gordon of Coalport was in charge. Mrs. Dillen was esteemed and respected by everyone and had a wide circle of relatives and friends.
