Myrtle Decker and her husband lived most of their adult life in New Matamoras, Washington County, Ohio, where they raised their four children. They are buried in her parents' plot in this Greenwood Cemetery.

MRS. D. O. DECKER BURIED WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Myrtle W. Decker at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, Dec. 18 at the home on Main street. Mrs. Decker died of a stroke at 6:00 A. M. Sunday [Dec. 15]. She had been in failing health for a good while, but her sudden death came as a severe shock. Only a few nights before she had attended the installation services of the Matamoras Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star of which she was a Past Worthy Matron. That organization held special services on Tuesday evening at 7:30.
She leaves her husband, D. O. Decker; two sons, Ross of Wellsville and Charles of New York City; and two daughters, Mrs. Brooks McClung of Spencer, W. Va. and Mrs. Lella Pinney of Worthington.
Following the services here, the body was taken to her old home at Racine, O., for burial.
At the time of her death, Mr. Decker was ill in bed. He is somewhat better at this writing. All the relatives were able to be present at the funeral.
