Raised in Illinois, joined Cavalry in 1917, served at Columbus, NM where he met Eva Adelle Kendrick. They were married in Galesburg,IL on August 12,1920. Children Stanley Edwin and Dixie Irene. Died in a steam shovel explosion in Muddy Gap, WY while working on a highway construction crew.
