Pier Fabriek was born 6 July 1853 in municipality Weststellingwerf in the dairy farmers village Oldetrijne, in the southern part of the Dutch northern province Friesland. His parents are Anne Piers Fabriek and Wobbegje Piers Woudsma.

On 7 May 1875 he married in Wolvega, seat of municipality Weststellingwerf, at the age of 21 years to the one year older Grietje de Ruiter (= the Horseman, the Rider).

The following children were born in the south Friesian municipality Weststellingwerf:

- Anne Piers Fabriek, 24 February 1876, Oldetrijne;
- Jantje Fabriek, 10 December 1878;
- Joost Fabriek, 15 June 1880, Oldetrijne;
- Jan Fabriek, 15 February 1882, Oldetrijne;
- Wobbigje Fabriek, 9 May 1884, Oldetrijne;
- Geesje Fabriek, 20 November 1885;
- Dirk Fabriek, 23 October 1887, Oldetrijne.

Pier is in 1876 and 1884 a [dairy] farmer in Oldetrijne, in 1906 an administrator.

On 14 May 1908 manager Pier Fabrick (55 y) and his wife Grietje (56 y) arrived with their children Yantje, Wobbigje, Gusje [Geesje], Dirk and Anne Fabrick on the SS Adriatic at New York, Ellis Island. Son Anne, an irrigation inspector, is accompanied by his wife Johanna and their infant Greta (1 y). Pier's three daughters are hatmakers and his son Dirk is a teacher.
Their destination is Orange City in Iowa, where a nephew and cousin reside.

His son Joost (28 y, farmer) emigrated in April 1909 with his wife Albertje [Boersma] (27 y) and their children Pier (4 y) and Margje (1 y) to Manhattan, Gallatin County, Montana, where his father P. Fabriek lived. On 27 April 1909 they arrived on the SS Nieuw Amsterdam at New york. Their last residence place in the Netherlands was Oldetrijne, mun. Weststellingwerf, Friesland.

In 1910 Peter and Grietje Fabrick lived with their children Jennie (31 y), Wilma (25 y), Grace (24 y) and Dick (22 y) at Manhattan, Gallatin County in the southwestern part of Montana, near the Dutch settlement Holland, later on called Amsterdam.

On 28 April 1913 Pier Fabriek, 59 years aged and without occupation, returned with his wife Grietje (60 y) and their daughter Wilma (Wobbigje, 26 y) on the SS Nieuw Amsterdam to New York with as final destination Bozeman, seat of Gallatin County, where their son and brother Jan lives, from a visit to Grietje's mother Mrs. Dijkstra at Wolvega, seat of mun. Weststellingwerf, Friesland, Netherlands.

His wife Grietje died ultimo 1914 at Wolvega, the seat of her birth municipality Weststellingwerf in the southern part of the Dutch province Friesland, not unlikely during a visit to her relatives there.

In 1920 the 65 years aged widower Peter Fabrick lived at the home of his daughter Wilma (Wobbigje, 34 y) and her husband John Vander Laan in Gallatin County, Montana.

On 2 September 1923 Pier Fabriek, 70 years aged and without occupation, returned alone on the SS Ryndam at New York with as final destination his home at Manhattan, 3rd Street, Montana, from a visit to his sister <-in-law> G. Dijkstra at Wolvega, seat of mun. Weststellingwerf, Friesland, Netherlands.

In 1930 widower Peter Fabrick (76 y) lived at Manhattan, Gallatin County, at the home of his daughter Wilma (44 y) VanderLaan's family.
