Soul/Disco Singer. Along with her sisters, Gloria and Gracie, they made up the musical group, 'The Ridgeway Sisters.' The group originally called, 'Sweet Dream' got there break when they released there first album, "Sweet Dream And Other Delights" for the Shadybrook Imprint in 1978. That same year they recorded the song, "Before You Break My Heart" which gained great success in England. In 1981 they gained greater success when they contributed to the album, "It's Just The Way I Feel" recorded on the Capitol Record Label. 'The Ridgeway Sisters' later became session singers to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, and Nancy Wilson, with whom they recorded such songs as, "A Rose Is Still A Rose," "If I Had My Way," "First Class Only," "Everything-N-More," "You Make It Easy," "Something On The Inside," and "Whatcha Gonna Do With My Lovin." The sisters also had a cameo role in the film, "Blues Brothers 2000" which also starred Dan Aykroyd. Esther Ridgeway died of a heart attack in February 2003, at the age of 43.
