Wilhelm William George Sieber was the son of Jacob Sieber and Ann Barbara Diedrich.

The family moved from Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Colby, Clark, Wisconsin in 1878.

William married Rosalie Ann Greenwood, the daughter of Henry H Greenwood and Phoebe Elizabeth Myhill, in Colby on April 11, 1898.

The couple lived in the town of Hull, Marathon County, Wisconsin, which is adjacent to the town of Colby in Clark County. The couple had four/five children, before William died of tuberculosis in 1907. The children were Hattie Auralie (Edwin) Kraus 1906, Albert William 1902-1928, George R 1903-1908, Henry Richard 1904, and likely Arno 1906-1906.

After William died in 1907, Auralie married Frederick Johann Diedrich Burhop in 1909. The couple with William's children also lived in Hull, and had four more additional children: Louis 1911, Alvina Rosalie (Gustave) Gollhardt 1917, Lydia Elvira 1919, and Ercell F 1920.

The cemetery has no records of this burial. The place of his burial is not specifically mentioned in his burial, but his name is found in the cemetery index at Colby Memorial Cemetery Index. Married, at the M.E. Parsonage in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), by Rev. S.A. Hoffman, on Monday morning, April 11th, Mr. William G. Sieber of the town of Colby, Clark Co., and Miss Rosalie Greenwood of the town of Hull, Marathon, Co.Mr. Sieber is one of the bright, industrious young men of the town of Colby, and is the eldest son of the late Jacob Sieber, former town treasurer. Miss Greenwood is a daughter of Henry Greenwood of Hull, and both have a host of friends.The ceremony was performed in the morning and accompanied by friends and acquaintances, the happy couple repaired to the depot and boarded the early train south for a short wedding trip. The Phonograph extends hearties greetings.

Died, at his home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Monday evening, March 18th, 1907, of consumption, William Sieber, in the 38th year of his age.

Deceased was born in Sheboygan Co., Nov. 2nd, 1869, and came to Colby with his parents in 1878, settling on a farm in the town of Colby. In 1898 he was married to Miss Rosalind Greenwood, and resided for a while on the old farm in the town of Colby, afterward living on his farm in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., removing to this city last July. Besides his widow and four children, he leaves to mourn his death, three brothers and two sisters, Jacob H. of Minong, Wis., Ernst, Julius, Minnie and Hattie of Fond du Lac Co., all of whom, except the two sisters, were in attendance at the funeral. The bereaved family and relatives have the sympathy of the neighbors and many friends in their sad loss.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.S. Austin at the M. E. Church, today.
